Ms. Summer has been awarded a certificate in Early Childhood Education from Lake Washington Technical College and is currently pursuing an additional degree in education from Everett Community College. Summer has been working as a teacher for the past 3 years with ages birth through school age before coming to Sunnyside where she works at the Sherwood Campus with the pre-k students and kindergarteners. Summer's enthusiasm and energy is contagious to all who enter her classroom. Summer's teaching objective is to continue to educate children in a high quality environment that provides children with the encouragement and educational stimulation to assist in their development of friendships, a positive self image, and developmental skills that will carry them through their childhood and beyond.
